What services do you offer?
Packaging Chic offers two main services:
Consulting & Coaching for brands that need help getting packaging right, from concept to production. We also offer personalized training for people who want to increase their packaging and print knowledge.
Production Management for companies who need a trusted partner to handle supplier coordination, oversee quality assurance, and get boxes made right.
We focus on custom, paper-based secondary packaging; think cartons, kits, specialty boxes, rigid set up boxes, and e-comm shippers. You’ll find us working with flexible packaging and labels, too.
Do you design packaging?
Packaging Chic specializes in production-ready packaging solutions. We work with experienced packaging designers to support your project with graphics tailored specifically for print production. For clients who don’t have someone to finalize production art, we offer this as a service ensuring your files are correct, efficient, and ready to run. When there’s already a creative direction in place, we bring structure, fun, partnership, clarity, and a deep understanding of what works in the real world of manufacturing, budgets, and timelines.
Do you source suppliers?
Yes. We find the right supplier for your specific packaging needs, with options that fit your quality standards, order volumes, and delivery schedules. We're also happy to work with your existing suppliers if there is a need. Packaging reps quote what they can sell. We evaluate what’s best for you and your brand.
Do you offer fulfillment services?
Yes, indirectly. If your project involves fulfillment or assembly, we have regional partners who specialize in various industries that we work with. In addition, we can refer you to trusted partners or help coordinate as part of a larger production engagement.
GETTING STARTED
What’s the first step if I’m interested in working with you?
Start by requesting the Packaging Things to Know Checklist or scheduling a Discovery Call. Those give us the background needed to see how we can help. From there, we can determine the right service for your needs.
What’s your availability?
We typically work Monday–Friday, 7am to 4pm Pacific Time. Emails are generally answered within 24 hours. Urgent needs outside these hours may incur a rush fee.
Do you take on every project?
Most of our clients are in beauty, specialty food, wine & spirits, wellness, and boutique fashion. We also support corporate product development and marketing teams who need expert help getting packaging off their to-do list.
DESIGN, SAMPLES & PROTOTYPES
Can you create a custom packaging structure for my product?
Absolutely. And if development is needed without a supplier, we’ll bring in one of our structural design partners to develop dielines, test prototypes, and ensure manufacturability.
Can I get a sample or prototype?
Yes. Once your project is scoped and underway, we provide plain (undecorated) prototypes and/or printed samples. Costs vary depending on materials and complexity. Sample production is often part of the supplier’s setup process.
Do you offer stock packaging options?
Our services focus on custom packaging. If you're looking for off-the-shelf boxes or mailers, we can recommend suppliers like Uline or Papermart and suggest ways to dress them up.
PRICING, TIMING & MINIMUMS
How much does packaging cost?
It depends on size, style, materials, quantity, decoration, and freight. We offer a Packaging Pricing Strategy Report as a paid product that breaks it all down for you across multiple packaging formats and SKUs. For ballpark pricing, please contact us directly with your specs.
What are your minimums?
There’s no hard minimum quantity, please keep in mind that small runs (under 1,000 units) cost more per piece. If you're testing a new product, we’ll help you weigh your options before committing to volume. There is a minimum project cost of $500 in most cases.
What are typical lead times?
It depends on the packaging type, the production load, and a few other factors. For printed cartons, it’s anywhere from 4–6 weeks after proofs are approved. Short runs can be as quick as 10–15 working days. If you're on a tight deadline, let us know early so we can plan accordingly.
SUSTAINABILITY, QUALITY & SUPPORT
Do you work with sustainable materials?
Yes. We can help you choose FSC-certified boards, recycled content, and alternative paper options that meet your brand’s environmental goals. But we also make sure your packaging functions. Eco-friendly doesn’t help if your product arrives damaged.
Can you help if I’ve had problems with another packaging supplier?
Definitely. Some clients come to us frustrated by delays, quality issues, or confusion. We’ll help untangle what went wrong and set you up for smoother packaging success.
PAYMENT POLICIES
Do you require a deposit?
Yes. Most projects require a 50% deposit before materials are ordered or work begins. The remaining balance is due prior to shipment. Larger company clients can apply for credit terms.
How do I pay?
Most clients pay by bank ACH. We can accept credit card payments on smaller projects electronically, but fees may apply.
Will I get a detailed scope of work?
Yes. We’ll review and accept a customized Agreement outlining the scope, deliverables, timeline, and cost. No surprises. Minimal fine print.

Where are you located?
Packaging Chic LLC is based in sunny San Diego, California. Most of our work is done remotely, which means we can support clients all over the country. If you're in town and want to meet face-to-face, we’re happy to make it happen.
How long have you been in business?
Packaging Chic was founded in 2007, but our founder, Sharon Eucce, has been working in the print and packaging industry for over 40 years. We’ve helped hundreds of brands, from tiny startups to large corporations, make better decisions about packaging.
